The podcasting class will examine the podcasting software of Anchor (free) and touch on Audacity as well as GarageBand (all free).

Our class will also look at the process for writing a podcast, finding topics, and creating a podcast. We will also examine how to become a podcaster. The majority of my professional career has been as a history and English educator. My knowledge in this field stems from having been a speech and debate coach, taught debate and public communication course (in public school and on Outschool), I have been a sports broadcaster/announcer, and the creation of my own published sports podcast as well.

I am excited to bring my experiences into the classroom where students will have the opportunity to develop a hands on project of creating their own podcast.
