In this weekly ongoing social club, learners will utilize critical thinking and social skills while playing Survival Mode in Minecraft Java Edition in a moderated private server.

In this weekly ongoing social club, learners will be given access to my own private server during our meetings. Since only myself and learners who are currently enrolled will have access to this server, it ensures a safe and moderated environment for everyone playing. In Survival Mode, every new player who joins will start with nothing. Learners will have to gather their own food and materials, build their own shelter, and craft their own weapons and armour. I will be able to adjust settings in the server as necessary and teleport learners to different players/areas for quick transportation. This is a learner-directed class so our schedule will remain the same each week. We will play Minecraft together and socialize. Required Materials: - Minecraft: Java Edition - Purchased and installed (for PC/Mac) - A registered account IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: Make sure when enrolling that you have the correct version of Minecraft installed. Minecraft Java and Minecraft Bedrock are not compatible with each other. Learners should know their gamer tag so that I can add them to the whitelist at the start of class and give them access to the server. They should have a registered account and know how to log in to Minecraft before class. If you have any questions about this, please send me a message before class and I will try to answer as best as I can. REFUND POLICY: If a learner is not able join due to connection-related issues, not having a registered account beforehand, or not knowing their gamer tag, I will not be issuing refunds. Unfortunately, I will not have time to help each learner individually as it takes away from the gameplay time of the other learners. Thank you for your understanding!

Hey everyone! 👋 I’m Vaughn, and I’m thrilled to welcome you to our community. Originally from Winnipeg, Canada, I’m a proud dad to a 2-year-old son and a black cat named Milo 🐈⬛. I’ve been teaching English online since 2019, and my passion for connecting with learners has only grown since I began my journey on Outschool.
