This will be a fun one shot Dungeons and Dragons adventure. Our heroes will be called upon to stop a gang of sneaky goblins who have stolen an airship. Along the way they will face several puzzles and challenges and make some friends. Dungeons and Dragons can serve as a great tool for teaching logic and critical thinking. This adventure highlights problem solving and team work. They will be learning these skills while having a grand adventure. I will ask for character creation before the game begins but I am happy to work with any student to create a character if they don't know how.

Supply List
I have played Dungeons and Dragons since I was in high school back in the 80's. Last year I became a professional game master and I have many positive reviews on StartPlaying.games. I have also been a high school science teacher for 13 years. This makes me very good at explaining difficult concepts.
External Resources
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Teacher expertise and credentials
Texas Teaching Certificate in Science
"Hello. I am Mr. Blue and I will be your science teacher today!" are the words I said every school day for the last 12 years. Then the pandemic hit...
During this last year many of my teaching colleagues complained about having to teach remotely but, much to my surprise, I found that I really enjoyed it! I enjoyed finding different ways to make connections between students and the materials they were studying and I enjoyed the challenge of making the virtual classroom fun and interesting for my students.
I love teaching science and I have been teaching Astronomy and Physics for the last twelve years. I think every student learns differently and it is my mission to help every student succeed and to find something that inspires them.
I am also a Professional Dungeon Master for Dungeons and Dragons and I have over 80 positive reviews at StartPlaying.games so you know I can tell a good story and keep a listener engaged.
Please keep me in mind when you are choosing your next science teacher. I would love to be able to say, "Hello. I'm Mr. Blue and I will be your science teacher today." once again.
