This is a course where students will learn to improve reading comprehension through setting a purpose, mind mapping, summarizing and capturing their reactions. We will only meet 1 day. Students will gain a new strategy.

US Grade 6 - 9
Students will be utilizing a text about annuals and perennials to learn strategies to increase their comprehension of textbooks and other non-fiction texts. Students will learn how to set a purpose, develop a mindmap, do a brief summary and capture their reactions to the reading.
