US Grade 10 - 12
We will cover planting zone planting, why you should have a garden at any age, and where the best places to start a garden may be for your situation. We will review different seed packets and learn how to read them (or find information). We will cover why some plants do better in certain climates as others. We will also cover the best growing mediums for the plants you choose to grow. When class is finished students will have a garden plan in hand! This class meets once. A piece of graph paper, pencils and a medium to color with are all that is needed to complete this class. I will provide a template for a sample garden. No homework is assigned. No evaluations. No external links or websites needed. No background knowledge is needed.

I am a public/homeschool mom of three. I enjoy reading and gardening in my spare time, as well as trying to find frugal ways to feed and entertain my kiddos!
