Why do I want to make a difference in education?

I remember being the kid that was too disturbing in the class because everything seems too easy to understand and to complete. While it was boring around me, I dreamed about a place where I could put my creativity into work. In my own world, I enjoyed making my Barbie dolls different outfit made out of paper design, drawing different character from the stories I was making up and writing down songs and poems to express what I was experiencing. Growing up, I develop also a passion for music and dance. It was my way to let out the eager of my creativity. I couldn’t stop creating new things. I became a professional dancer and got my first contract at 16 years old. Starting teaching and training dancers inspired me to become a teacher, an educator, a role model for all the kids who felt or are feeling the same way that I was as a little girl. It is ok to be different. Well, I should put it this way, it is wonderful to be unique. This is why, I want to help children to develop their mind and their creativity through reading, writing, drawing and crafting.

Creativity is my best teaching tool. Sharing the imaginary world of children and understanding each one of their abilities is my secret for a happy learning environment.

How can I make a difference?

Now as an educational designer, a language teacher and author of children stories, I am here to share my passions and teach what I have been learning with my heart. In result, my teaching approach is efficient, fast and innovative but especially fun.

I have always been passionate about learning and creating new ways of teaching. I taught Chinese in College for 4 years. I taught Chinese and French in Business school. I have helped hundreds of students in Canada and in China to achieve their academic or personal goal. I have traveled in Asia for many years teaching English, French and back home, in Montreal, Canada, I taught Chinese to schoolchildren in private schools and worked with private schools to offer individual academic support in French. Since March 2020, I have decided to move my passion of teaching, on line.

Teaching for me always has been a way to contribute to my community and to keep improving myself as a human being. We are always a student. Your child might become my teacher one day!
