Pink Valentine Horse
Class experience
In this one-time drawing class, students will learn to draw a cute, pink horse (head), with roses and long hair, using colored pencil. Students may make this Valentine themed, but are welcome to design their horse however they please. Students are welcome to come to class with fun facts to share about horses if they want, or fun Valentine traditions they have. 1. Students will learn techniques to sketch a proportionate contour drawing (outline) of a horse (head), using pencil. 2. Students will learn techniques for smooth blending, pencil application, gradient blending, and adding contrast, using colored pencils. 3. Students will learn techniques to create realistic hair texture, using colored pencils. 4. Students will learn techniques to draw realistic roses, using colored pencils.
