During this course students will collaborate in discussions related to the book Piecing Me Together by Renèe Wilson. We will also work to complete female empowerment activities related to this book. This book club is more geared towards girls but boys are welcome to join. Other Details
Parental Guidance
The book discusses police brutality, socioeconomic differences, stereotypes, LGBTQ, and learning about yourself. The main character is 16 however there are valuable lessons for younger age group as well.
