What's included
1 live meeting
25 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
This super fun class will give picky eaters a chance to try new foods! We'll explore and sample 2 new, healthy foods each week. We'll investigate smells, textures, colors, and overall appearance. Before we explore any foods, students will have the opportunity to show off a favorite item/toy at the beginning of each class. We'll share silly jokes and have goofy challenges to keep the energy light and fun. The weekly food choices will vary and usually include a commonly accepted food (i.e. apples, potatoes, bananas), and either an oddly textured food (i.e. avocados, okra, kiwi) or a strongly flavored food (i.e. lemons, beets, onions). Students will have the opportunity to talk about their favorite flavors and ones they don't like so much with their peers, developing a camaraderie with which to cheer one another on in their new food adventures. Together we'll take tiny, exploratory steps that could end in a nibble of a previously despised food. Please have food washed and prepped before meetings. The updated weekly food list can be found here in the description and the weekly class updates.
