Pick your Card: Creative Writing through Playing Cards
This is a one-time course that offers students an introduction to Creative Writing. In this class, students will write and provide feedback to their peers. This class is designed for students ages 10-13.

In this one-time class, students will use a deck of playing cards with assigned characters, settings, plots, etc., to create a short story. They will spend the first part of class writing and the second half sharing their stories and providing feedback. Students are expected to share what they liked about their peers' pieces and provide suggestions for improvements.

All students are welcome to participate in this class. If a student is not able to write, then they can participate through pictures or storytelling.
