Description

Class Experience

An online piano recital, students who have taken one-on-one lessons with the instructor are invited to perform some of repertoire that they have learned over the past term.  This will be an informal event that will begin with an introduction of the students, with a brief discussion of musical background, performance expectations, and recital etiquette.  Students will be expected to offer encouragement to each other, as well as constructive criticism, in some cases.  The event will end with a...

Students will learn recital etiquette, performance etiquette, and how to overcome common recital issues, including stage fright.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Students will be assessed informally after each performance.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

We will watch a brief performance of the instructor to conclude the recital.  A permalink to the performance will be provided after the class.
