Description
Class Experience
In this fun and hands-on class, young learners will learn about the basics of playing the piano, including finger numbers, groups of two and three black keys, music alphabet, and names of the white keys.
Students will be learning to play songs on the black keys by finger numbers.
Week 1: Introduction, getting familiar with the piano keyboard, learning high and low sounds, learning Right and Left Hand finger numbers. We will cover Unit 1 songs, Transportation Theme, playing...Student will learn finger numbers, groups of 2 and 3 black key, play songs on the black keys.
Student may practice the songs they learned during the lesson and complete fun worksheets assignments.

Piano book "Pre-Reading Made Fun" blue starter book by Kevin and Julia Olson, available on amazon or sheetmusicplus.com. Pencils Additional worksheets will be provided
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students might need parents assistance during the lesson, as well as help with practicing outside the lesson.
