Beginner - Intermediate Level
Hello! My name is Jordan Clawson - I teach online piano lessons. I am a pianist and composer from the United States. I teach lessons for students of all ages using a variety of music genres, especially music students enjoy. I am also available for jazz piano lessons if you wish to focus on jazz. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Music degree from New York University. I have been teaching lessons for over 20 years, and I love working with students online! In my lessons I focus on practice methods, technique, reading pitches and rhythms, harmony, improvisation, composition, and having fun with music. I also love writing my own music, and enjoy working on composition with students who are interested in writing.

Practice techniques, piano key names, finger numbers, good fingering habits, note reading, rhythm reading, scales, chords, arpeggios, feeling the beat, ear training, playing songs, playing different styles of music, and more!
