InformalClass Experience
In this one week class students will learn basic piano skills using the free Mayron Cole piano method - Blast Off Piano for Juniors. Students will be able to access the pieces and the accompaniments at https://www.freepianomethod.com/. Day 1 - quarter notes and eighth notes (rhythm exercises) Hear the Beat Tap, Tappey White Clouds Day 2 - CDE (learn three notes) Review On This Farm - CD Tap, Tappey - CDE I Love to Hoe Potatoes - CDE Day 3 - CDE Review Bullfrog Jamboree - CDE White Clouds - CDE Every Morning Day 4 Review Two Little Goats - EF On This Farm - CDEF Star Bright in the Sky - CDEF Day 5 Bullfrog Jamboree - BC Hear the Wind Blow - BCDE Dandelions Blowing - BCDE Optional recital - Students may choose to play a piece they learned this week for the class. Please let me know by Thursday if the learner is interested in playing for this mini ecital
Learning Goals
Students will learn basic rhythms and learn to play songs using BCDEF.
