This camp will explore several different physical concepts delving into the heat transfer of energy and will use real-world application and examples. There will be a lecture and discussion surrounding the material. Day 1: Heat and energy transfer molecular theory & temperature scales Day 2: Heat and energy transfer with a focus on conduction, radiation, and convection Day 3: The advanced water cycle and processes in this cycle Day 4: Cloud formation, types, and weather associated with them Day 5: Thunderstorm development and lightning The desire of the teacher is to engage the student with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned homework in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material, physics text book, with a few questions asked of the student.
