Learning Goals
Understand and Describe Motion – Students will be able to define and differentiate between one-dimensional and two-dimensional motion, including concepts like displacement, velocity, and acceleration.Analyze Motion Using Mathematical Representations – Students will apply kinematic equations to solve problems related to speed, velocity, acceleration, and projectile motion in both one and two dimensions.Syllabus

One-Dimensional Motion
The lesson introduces Motion Terms, the International System of Units, Scalar Quantities, Average and Instantaneous Speed, velocity = distance/time calculations, Linear Motion, Velocity, Position, and Displacement as well as Position-Time & Velocity-Time Graphs. 32 mins of video lessons
Lesson 2:
Two-Dimensional Motion
The lesson compares Uniform vs. Non-Uniform Motion, introduces students to Vectors as well as breaking them into their x and y-components. Furthermore, it teaches Vector Component Addition. 30 mins of video lessons
Lesson 3:
Relative Motion
The lesson overviews relative motion and provides examples to help with student understanding.
Following the lesson, students will complete a quiz on Lesson 1-3 21 mins of video lessons
Lesson 4:
Acceleration
The lesson teaching the process of Speeding up and Slowing Down and compares Uniform vs. Nonuniform Acceleration. It looks at Average Acceleration, Graphing Constant Acceleration (P-T, V-T and A-T graphs) and The Big 5 Acceleration Equations.
Following the lesson, students will complete a quiz on Lesson 4 Other Details
