This one time class is a great introduction to fitness at home. Here you will get a taste of what physical fitness is and some beginner strength in a fun and engaging way. This course can lead to my longer course on Physical Fitness.

Class Experience

Beginner Level
Embark on a journey to discover what physical fitness is all about! This one time class is designed to give a general overview of fitness and exercise and explore different types of movement. Through visual material, group games, and discussions, students will not only gain knowledge about health and exercise, but also be able to participate in a full body strength and stretching workout. 

This class is structured into two separate sections: the learning, and the activity. For the learning, this class will go over the general topics in physical health, to have a base for a more in depth class on each topic. These include: healthy eating, environmental health, mental health, sleep/rest, and social health. The second half of class will include strength exercises for the whole body that are sure to get your heart rate up!

PARENTS: This class is meant for all skill levels, whether your child has no experience with exercising, or has done it for many years. With that being said, any form of exercise has a risk for injury. Please know that participation in this class shows that you understand these risks and take responsibility if an injury were to occur. If a child at any point feels unsafe doing exercises, they are more than willing to stop the exercise altogether, or ask the teacher for a modification that is suitable.

Parental Guidance
This class has movement of the body so an open space that is safe for jumping jacks is needed for safety.
