Mastering any image-editing software takes a combination of technical and artistic skills, so this a great class for learners that have some level of ability to use a computer and an interest in art, photography, or technology.

My goal is to create a fun, creative learning environment where students can comfortably learn about Photoshop, bring their imagination to life, and share their digital art with one another.

It is easier for students to share what they are doing and get help if Photoshop or Photopea is being used on the same computer running Zoom. Please check your device to make sure that Zoom's screensharing permissions are enabled.

Class structure:
Students will be provided a set of photos to edit in the classroom log-in page. Students with a little more Photoshop experience may substitute their own photos. Students must have already downloaded the photos and know which folder they were downloaded to, before class begins.

Each class will begin with a demonstration of how to open a file or create a new file in Photoshop, an introduction to the workspace, and some new Photoshop tools. Each class will culminate in the student completing a new creative project, independently. Class will end with a demonstration of how to save the project.
