Beginner Level
I will use UFLI Foundations to teach phonics to students. We will cover letter identification, letter sounds, and sounding out words. I will use formative and summative assessments to decide where to start with students. My class uses slideshows, games, discussions, and online apps to help teach the letters. I want students to have fun learning and want to come to class! Students will interact with me 1:1 for 55 minutes.

Learning Needs
I am a special education teacher who has worked with students with all different types of disabilities. I have had success with students from 5-18 who struggle with reading to teach them how to sound out words.
