Through this tutoring, students will learn their letters, letter sounds, blending, segmenting, digraphs, and more!
Class Experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Beginner Level
I will use UFLI Foundations to teach phonics to students. We will cover letter identification, letter sounds, and sounding out words. I will use formative and summative assessments to decide where to start with students. My class uses slideshows, games, discussions, and online apps to help teach the letters. I want students to have fun learning and want to come to class! Students will interact with me 1:1 for 55 minutes.
- Students will identify all letters of the English alphabet.
- Students will identify all letters by their sounds.
- Students will blend VC, CVC, and many other types of words.
I am a special education teacher who has experience teaching students with disabilities and ELL students to read.
