Class Experience

*For these classes students will need to be familiar with and able to read simple words using letter blends, such as tr, sp, pl.*
In each class we will: look at each of the digraphs before identifying and writing them.
identify and write the correct digraph in words.
                                   read and write given words.
read and write sentences to practice using these digraphs in words.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi, my name is Sue and I'm from England. I am originally from Liverpool but now live a short distance away in Chester.
I teach English classes - phonics, reading, writing and ESL.
I have a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Liverpool and began teaching in 1990. More recently I have been teaching ESL online.
I always teach standing up and use a virtual background as I feel that this can bring more fun to my class. Where possible I will use images and encourage students to interact with each other and ask questions.
I have three children - 25, 22 and 20, a cat called Pearl and a dog called Macey.
I enjoy reading, going on walks with my dog and love anything to do with The Beatles, Harry Potter and Dr Who!
I am looking forward to seeing you in class!
