This course will be focused on reviewing and learning double letters/ck. This course would be great for students who know all their letter sounds and can accurately write cvc words and have been introduced to blends/digraphs. I ask that students keep their camera on for the majority of class. Please reach out ahead of time if this will not work for your child.

Meeting One, the focus will be on being introduced to and sorting between the double letter/ck. Double letters include ff, ll, ss, and zz.

Meeting Two, the focus will be on practicing reading and writing words. We will practice differentiating between words that do need double letters and those that do not. 

Meeting Three, the focus will be on reading and writing letters with blends/digraphs and double letters/ck.

Meeting Four, we will review what we have practiced. We will practice writing these words and work with sentences.
