Phonics for Reading!
In this 6 week program, we work on phonics through the Wilson Reading program to build reading skills for fluency.
Class experience
Week 1: Closed syllables, review letter sounds. Spelling words & Reading. Student will follow "I do, we do, you do" Week 2: Introduce digraphs, review letter sounds. Spelling words & Reading. To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 4x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.I have taught and been trained in the Wilson reading program which is are in-depth lessons for building reading and spelling skills.
Homework Offered
Practice reading for 1 minute. Practice spelling words. Practice finding welded and blended sounds in words.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
