Class Experience

Who loves pizza?? Come join this one time course where students learn how to make biscuit pizzas, sequence, and listen to a read aloud of "Pete the Cat and the Perfect Pizza". Students will be able to create their own mini pizzas from biscuits. They will need adult help placing the pizza in and out of the oven and preheating the oven. We will look at a recipe together and discuss how to follow it correctly and safely. The pizza only takes 10-15 minutes to bake. During that time, we will read the story and then have a sequencing activity. Once we take the pizza out, we will end class, so the students can enjoy their creation! I will make sure everyone has the recipe so your family can make it again, if you'd like!

Parental Guidance

Parental supervision will be needed when the student turns on the oven, and then a parent will need to place the pizza in the oven and take it out.

Supply List

-1 Jar of pizza sauce 

-1 bag of mozzarella cheese (enough to cover a small pizza) 

-Biscuits dough (like pillsbury or off brand will work fine too) 

-Pepperoni or any other topping that you prefer 

-Cookie sheet and foil (or any pan the mini pizza will fit on)

-Spoon
