Pete the Cat Comic Writing

In this class, students will learn how to write a comic. Their comic will be inspired by James Dean and Eric Litwin's, 'Pete the Cat' books. 
We will look for common themes throughout the 'Pete the Cat' books, including illustrations, language, and speech. 
Students will learn how to draw the famous character from the book. They will use their created character to write their own comic. Students will be encouraged to use speech bubbles in their comics.
