Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! My name is Cara and I am a homeschooling mom to my three children and toddler. I have also been teaching online for almost three years and I am a part time journalist for the local weekly newspaper.
I believe in the Charlotte Mason educational philosophy, and I want to create an environment where self-driven learning becomes a way of life.
My classes will involve classic literature, poetry, artwork, nature study, and more - a feast of ideas for all students.
I've taught more than 700 students in the classroom and online, totaling more than 3000 classes! I was previously credentialed in the state of California to teach grades K-8. In my free time, I love to garden, draw, bake and explore nature with my kids.
I look forward to seeing you in class soon!
