Persuasive Essay Workshop
In this six-week self-paced course, students will learn to to compose a persuasive (argumentative) essay from the outline until the finished draft.

Students will receive letter grades for their two completed essays based on the provided rubric.Class Experience

This course is focused on helping learners master how to compose a persuasive (argumentative) essay from planning to the completed version, as well as how to proofread and revise their own essays. Video lessons will guide students through the essay writing process and each lesson will have students practice what they are learning by writing that part of the essay. Students will have access to sample essays and rubrics throughout the course.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to compose a five-paragraph persuasive essay within a time limit following the appropriate essay format as well as maintaining the appropriate format for each paragraph.Students will be able to proof-read and revise their own writing.
