Hello! In this class, the student will learn about personification and onomatopoeia and how to incorporate these literary devices into their writing. They will see examples of these techniques and be inspired to create descriptive pieces from sentences, to story excerpts, to poems. When the student has finished the course, they will be encouraged to send me their best work for feedback.

You will see a fun presentation explaining about these 2 literary devices. This lesson contains lots of sentences and examples with the use of these tools.

Lesson 2:
See It in Action!
In this lesson, we'll step it up! You'll see the use of personification and onomatopoeia in two original story excerpts and in an original poem. For each of these, you will see a "before" and "after" - you will see them without the use of figurative language, and then you'll see them with the tool(s). This way, you can easily see the difference it makes.
