Welcome to a fun one-time class all about Personalities! Here, we'll dive into learning more about ourselves and others around us. We'll self-reflect and create positive words about ourselves. As a psychology student, I studied and took many personality tests, so I'll be sharing a few links on the classroom page and in the materials section where students can take the free version of the tests before class. Learners will be expected to speak, share and engage with other students about themselves. Learners will have prompts to support these conversations. We'll talk about different personality types from popular sources and used my combined approach to give learners a fun, new, introspective method for noticing positive characteristics in themselves. Learners will be highly encouraged to take a FREE online test before coming to the classroom live meeting. If the learners do not take the free personality test before class, the information might not seem interesting. I would highly recommend they take the test since we'll talk a lot about each personality type directly from the test. We'll focus on applying these personality characteristics to themselves and people they know. We'll play a "would you rather" game to allow learners to reflect on how they give and get attention and love. Learners can count on having a classroom that is judgment-free, safe, and engaging with positive peer support and teacher feedback. Learners will be able to have fun while learning about themselves!
Learning Goals
Overall, learners will use self-reflection techniques, questionnaires, and journaling pages to be aware of their own wellness and needs. Free personality tests and interpreting these tests will be discussed in the lesson. Learners will engage in social conversations, engaging Q&As, and problem-solving activities that will engage the learners in coping strategies for each personality type.
