SELF-PACED Course - NO live meetings FINANICAL LITERACY - FULL YEAR FINANICAL FOUNDATIONS: BUILDING SMART MONEY SKILLS FOR LIFE This full year personal finance course equips students with the essential knowledge and skills to become financially savvy. Key topics include banking, credit management, budgeting, investing, career planning, and more. Financial literacy is essential in meeting the financial challenge of the 21st Century. The competencies, which form the basis for this full year curriculum will enable students to analyze their personal financial decisions, evaluate the costs and benefits of their decisions, recognize their rights and responsibilities as consumers, and apply the knowledge learned in school to financial situations encountered later in life. This engaging personal finance course provides students with a well-rounded foundation in managing their money and preparing for future financial decisions. Over the course of 11 units, students will learn key financial concepts and practical skills to build financial confidence and independence. By the end of this course, students will have the tools to confidently manage their finances, make informed decisions, and plan for their financial future.
