
In this 30-minute one-on-one class, the learner will have the opportunity to practice problem solving skills to solve puzzles, brainteasers, and riddles. There will be a variety of puzzles, such as rebus, word play, and riddles. The learner will try to solve each puzzle in a supportive and encouraging environment. Puzzles will be provided for the learner to see as I read them aloud. We will discuss intended answers as well as challenge lethe learner to find alternative answers. I am here to give tips, tricks, and strategies to become a better puzzle solver. The learner can choose to attend as many classes as they wish. Puzzles will vary each week.
Learners will practice critical thinking skills.Learners will practice communication skills.Learners are welcome to bring paper and pencil to class, if they wish to use that to solve the puzzles.
I taught elementary school for 11 years, and I have taught online for six years. As a mother of an amazingly autistic teen, I understand and strongly believe that all learners need to feel safe and comfortable.
