Week 1Lesson 1Chapters 1-4Learners will read chapters 1-4 of the book. There will be a 10 question worksheet about the chapters. There will be a "Would You Rather" question for each chapter. Once the learner has read all the weekly chapters, they can test their knowledge with the weekly blooket trivia game.Week 2Lesson 2Chapters 5-8Learners will read chapters 5-8 of the book. There is a 10 question worksheet about the differences between the book and movie. Learners will post at least one difference they notice. The final blooket game will test if events came from the book or the movie.
- Once completing the reading, leaners will have an understanding of the Hero's journey for Percy Jackson. They will also be familiar with the character development.

Frequency: includedDetails: After reading the assigned chapter group, I will assign a Blooket trivia game. The game will ask them questions about the assigned reading. Blooket is a free site. The leaner can sign up for a free account or play as a guest. Only my leaners will have access to the game.
