Class Experience

Students will start class by reviewing what a percent is. Once this is established we will go into finding the percent of a whole amount. Students will be given a strategy that can be applied to any type of problems involving percents. With this strategy students will be able to find the part, percent or whole amount. Students will apply the strategy to skill based problems and a couple of word problems.
Students will leave the lesson with detailed notes that will useful for future lessons.

Supply List
Students will need a pencil and a notebook to write notes on. If possible please print the attached files before class. Pens may be used during class as well.
