The purpose will be to teach the student about the PBY Catalina aircraft, its historical significance during World War II, facts about the different variants of the aircraft, and how the aircraft was used in different theaters of the war. An attached note-taking document with pictures will help the student learn and retain the information in this course. There is also a short video of the PBY Catalina’s history in WWII. The teacher desires to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned homework in this class, and the teaching style will be lecture via PowerPoint material with a few questions asked of the students.
Learning Goals
The learning goals for this class is to better understand the historical significane of the PBY Catalina flying boat in WWII.

There will be no overt violence displayed in this class. The class also has a short YouTube video in it but no needed account is required to view the video.
