Class Experience

This is a weekly social club for kids to connect with other kids around the world who speak the universal language of loving and caring for their dogs. We will have fun learning more about our amazing furry friends as we play games, tell jokes, learn fun facts and share tips and tricks on how to improve our relationships with our dogs as well as with each other as we connect as dog lovers and make lasting friendships.
Weekly content for classes will be as follows:
10-15 minutes: Introductions and chatting about our week, what fun things we did with our dogs this week what new tricks have they learned.
10 minutes: Interactive dog-themed games lead by Mrs. Jen and Bear (or a returning student if it is desired and planned with teacher supervision beforehand).
10-15 minutes: Break-out rooms may be used (monitored by Mrs. Jen at all times) for students to connect one on one and have a student-directed discussion.
10-15 minutes: Q&A students get to ask Mrs. Jen and Bear questions about any issues they are having with training or taking care of their dogs. Mrs. Jen will troubleshoot with them, give them ideas through specific examples, and help them create a plan to overcome and solve their problem. Mrs. Jen will also offer an additional 5 minutes at the end of class for any student that needs a little extra one on one help with their pup.

Mrs. Jen may for short periods of time turn off her camera in order to facilitate student-directed discussion. She will always be monitoring as well as leaving audio on.
Students will have an opportunity to suggest activities, games, and topics of discussion that interest them. Bring your furry friend and join us for a barking good time!
Learning Goals
This class will be a laid back atmosphere where students are allowed to just be themselves and have fun with other kids their age and their dogs.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have owned small dogs my entire life, it's been my obsessive hobby to learn everything I can about taking care of them and helping them have a happy and fulfilled life. I have worked a lot with kids on how to handle dogs and how to be involved and responsible for taking care of them, and have had extensive experience teaching and connecting with children in general.
