Class Experience

Learners in this class will engage with the visual arts genre: still life. They will identify subject matter and learn about still life imagery in history. They will discuss composition and gestalt. In this class your learner will develop their fluency in the language of art by responding to still life imagery. They will learn about the contexts in which the artworks they were created.
My teaching style is individualised and reciprocal. I am sensitive to the strengths and needs of each learner and am happy when I too learn something from the knowledge and insights shared by all participants. Your learner will have many opportunities to respond to the ideas and images presented.
