Description
Class Experience
Students will understand how shape and pattern work together to create an interesting composition. They will design their fish using various lines - straight, curved, wavy, broken, thick and thin. They'll create color schemes based on their patterns. Most of all, this will be a fun, interactive experience for little artists to explore an imaginary world of fish they create themselves!
There will be no homework. If students do not finish their project in an hour, I encourage them to continue to explore this style of drawing after the class.
3 different print outs will be attached to the lesson so artists can choose a composition they like. Students will also have the option of creating their own fish shapes if they prefer. heavy white paper, preferably constuction paper colored markers crayons lead pencil and eraser
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will offer guidance and assistance during the lesson.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
