Making sure a student is comfortable is important to me. This makes for a more suitable learning environment. Getting to know the student's background and the student getting to know mine would be ideal. I then want to find out their math foundation skills. Math is built on steps. If a previous step is missing (not comprehended or learned) then future steps tend to be shaky. So a firm foundation is a necessity. I will provide different approaches to help a student learn. Again, patience and low pressure is my thing in helping a student learn. But I will up the challenge as the student makes positive progress.

Message me to let me know what day and time works for you.

Classkick will be used in class so students can work out problems on the screen and only I (the teacher) can see their work. There is no account necessary. To sign on, I will provide a link at the beginning of class and you would click on the link and put students first name and you will be able to log in without any account. To be Coppa Compliant, you will only be able to access Classkick lessons during class time. Once class ends, you will no longer be able to access the lesson. Sometimes, we will use Kahoot or Blooket to play games on the topic we are doing in class (if time permits). You will not need to sign up for an account with Kahoot or Blooket.
