Professionally, I have served as a Program Coordinator for pre-college programs like Upward Bound, where I supported students in building the skills needed for successful college applications, including personal statement development. As a professor, I have taught doctoral-level courses such as "Writing for the Practitioner" for students on their dissertations, further honing my ability to guide students in developing clear, impactful writing that resonates with their audience.
I also facilitate several events within my community, like "Turn Up for College," which provides students with an overview of college essays and SAT/ACT preparation.
