Parts of Speech
In this 6-week course, students will be introduced to the basic parts of speech. At the end of each lesson, students will practice using the parts of speech, allowing them to become successful readers and writers.

Beginner - Intermediate Level
This class will cover 6 basic parts of speech: nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, and prepositions. This class will be one hour and take place once a week. It will be taught via lecture with PowerPoint slides, practice rounds, and games. Students will also be given the opportunity to practice verbally.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to correctly identify the parts of speech in a sentence and/or reading passages.Students will be able to effectively use the parts of speech in both written and verbal forms.
