Part 1: Learn the ABCs Preschool FLEX Class! (Letters A-H)

In this ABC preschool FLEX CLASS (no live class sessions), there will be a new video every day (M-F) where we will make crafts, do hands on activities, sing songs, and read books about the alphabet!

Class Experience

In this preschool FLEX class, we will learn the letters Aa through Hh! Each week, we'll learn 2 new letters. We will have lots of fun together by learning about each letter through songs, stories, and crafts. A 5-10 minute video will be posted each day Monday through Friday (see weekly schedule below for an outline of what these videos will include). We will also do many other exciting activities to learn the new letter and practice letter recognition.

Because there will be NO LIVE CLASS SESSIONS, you'll be able to move through the class content at your own pace and on your own schedule.

Here's what you can expect each week:

MONDAY & WEDNESDAY:
Each Monday and Wednesday, I will introduce a new letter. There will be a video you can watch which will have songs and books that focus on words that start with that letter. We will also talk about things that start with that letter- We'll have a show and tell where each student will post a picture or video of 1-3 things they found in their house that start with that letter. There will also be a pdf packet you can print off that will be full of letter activities.

TUESDAY & THURSDAY:
Each Tuesday and Thursday, I will post a video and provide the pdfs for our letter crafts! You can follow along step by step as I make the craft with you. I will provide the printable pdfs, so all you'll need to bring are some crayons and glue (along with your printed pages). Students will share their craft with the class by posting a picture in the classroom so we can see how they all turn out!

FRIDAY:
Every Friday, I will post a video with a hands on activity to review our 2 letters of the week. I'll also provide some more engaging ideas you can use to reinforce those letters before we move on to new ones the following week. Students are encouraged to share a photo of which activities they chose to do!

I am working on getting more FLEX classes up that will continue the alphabet! Look for Part 2 and Part 3 to get the rest of the letters.

Parental Guidance

As this class is meant for very young learners, parents are encouraged to be nearby if their child needs help.

Supply List

Each week we will use:
A printable PDF will be provided for each letter
Crayons
Glue
Scissors

Some weeks, we will also use:
Q-Tips and Paint
Cheerios (or something else small such as beans, pom poms, or buttons)
Shaving Cream
Rice or Salt
