⛏️ Boost your Minecraft skills as we thrive, strategize, and persevere in my brand-new Bedrock Edition activity challenges in this brand-new Minecraft Bedrock biome and mob update in our inclusive social club within my secure, private, class only server. With a focus on collaboration, critical thinking, goal setting, teamwork, and problem-solving, learners thrive as a team in this supportive, respectful environment guided by a certified educator. ⛏️ Mutual gamer tag friending with me is required to join our private Minecraft realm. Please send gamer tag names privately to me via conversations. As we take on this new biome and mob battle challenge, our discussion is learner led in this inclusive one-time social club. Learners can take this unique one-time experience as many times as they wish. ⛏️ In our Outschool Zoom classroom and private Minecraft world, inclusion and respect for each player's creations are key. We stand against griefing: no tricking, trapping, stealing, or destroying others' items or pets. We foster a collaborative environment where all learners and their creations are valued and celebrated. • In our Outschool Zoom classroom and private Minecraft world, inclusion and respect for each player's creations are key. We stand against griefing: no tricking, trapping, stealing, or destroying others' items or pets. We foster a collaborative environment where all learners and their creations are valued and celebrated.
• Participation is allowed only during the scheduled class time. Ensure simultaneous presence in the Outschool Zoom classroom during Minecraft class activities.
• In specific situations, learners may choose to utilize a small group Zoom breakout room. Breakout rooms are optional and allow close collaboration with peers on projects and quests. Learners have control to join, ask for help, communicate, and leave a breakout room at any time.
• Class video recordings are not shared in social gaming classes to respect and protect all learners.
• Communication is welcomed, including the Outschool classroom Zoom using voice/microphone, Zoom video (which can be on or off once learner camera check in is completed), Zoom chat text, Minecraft chat text, and avatar actions in the game. Learners are given multiple options to engage, and digital hand raising is helpful when needed.
• To maintain a positive atmosphere in our Outschool Zoom meeting, I will take care to hold space for learners, occasionally using muting to facilitate focus or address background conversations or distracting noises. The goal is to empower learners to express themselves comfortably and respectfully in a collaborative learning space.
• Minecraft contains cartoon type violence without blood or gore. This update involves a spooky forest with a new hostile Minecraft tree mob we will battle. Sensitive learners should preview this biome and mob in their own worlds before enrolling.
• My Minecraft Carnival one-time experience is a great fit for more sensitive learners who do not enjoy battling hostile mobs. I schedule this upon request:
