Let’s Learn Italian Colors in Space! - Italian language and art class

In this one-time course, students will learn the colors in Italian: purple, white, black, green, blue, yellow through a fun art project! These are the colors we will use in our project. We will use a mix of Italian and English to help the young learners grasp the vocabulary and have a fun art class together. They will also learn the word for “planet” in Italian! Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello! I am an Italian-American teacher who grew up between Florence, Italy and Pennsylvania USA. I am an Italian as a second language and ESL teacher with over six years of teaching experience. I am a native Italian and English speaker, and grew up in a bilingual household. I love teaching kids of all ages and throughout my teaching career; I have taught students from ages 3-18. I have been teaching Italian on Outschool for two years and love sharing my passion for languages with my students. I currently create and teach Italian and English classes in creative ways through interactive slides, games, art, and more. My greatest passion is teaching, and I want to make the classroom a fun environment for my students!

I have a B.A. and M.A. in Communication Science, a TESOL certificate, and an Italian language C2 certification. I recently graduated with my Master's in Marketing Management. I also have worked with children for years teaching multiple age groups and many subjects in English and Italian. I have created my own curriculum and have a unique teaching style which follows a hands-on approach.

My teaching style is fun, engaging and personal. I want to get to know my students and I want their class time with me to be a complete learning experience that focuses on hands-on learning.

So why study languages? Why study Italian or English? Language development is fundamental for young learners. Foreign language studies also peak curiosity in learners, both younger and older. Italian is a useful language nowadays, not just for the language but also to improve logic, language arts, and it can serve as a starting point for other Latin languages. English is a necessary language today for life and for work. I hope to bring my passion for this beautiful language into your child's life.

I offer a variety of courses. I love Outschool, because I can teach my language, but also my passions, such as marketing, social studies, and more! I hope to see your learner in my classroom soon.

Class information and policies:
* I do accept last-minute bookings for one-time, multi-day, and ongoing courses. Private lessons must be scheduled and booked 24 hours in advance. This is to allow me to prepare the material for your child, since it is a personalized class.
* I follow the Outschool refund policies, therefore if you withdraw your learner 24 hours before the one-time class I will refund you.
* It is Outschool policy for parents to stay off camera during classes. If you would like to discuss anything with me about lessons or your child, please send me a message on OS!
* Class times are approximate. I may run a few minutes late if everyone is finishing a project.
