Painting Like Van Gogh!
In this 2 week (1 day per week) camp, students will learn interesting facts about the famous artist, Vincent Van Gogh and will complete a painting inspired by his style.
Class experience
This will be a fun and casual class for your students to enjoy learning about Van Gogh and to paint in his distinctive style. I have broken this project into 2 step-by-step guided painting lessons on how to create a "Starry Night " painting. I will monitor their progress, answer any questions and provide immediate verbal feedback on their progress. A small part will be devoted to learning and critiquing the work of Van Gogh. Students will hone painting skills by manipulating paint on canvas and problem solve painting accidents. Students will learn and utilize art terms in their discussions while learning about famous artist Vincent Van Gogh.
Miss Leah is and has been a certified art teacher and a professional visual artist for over 20 years.
