🍭✨Learn to draw and paint a colourful Gingerbread House in this one-time art class. No experience necessary! Let your imagination run wild while you decorate your house and create a candy land that will last forever! Students will use pencil, oil pastels or crayons, fine-line sharpie (or black coloured pencil), and watercolour to create their own unique works of art. After the class you can take a picture of the painting (or scan it) and have it printed on holiday cards. You could also frame the painting and give it as a gift! The class will consist of four main parts: sketching in pencil, inking with fine-line permanent marker (or black coloured pencil), colouring with oil pastels or crayons, and finally painting with watercolour! Ms. Emily will guide students step-by-step throughout the class and will show a close up view of her hands while she demonstrates each step. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and share their artwork with the other learners in the class. It will be a warm and welcoming environment that will be a good mix of learning and fun! Supply List
You will need: a pencil, eraser, oil pastels or crayons, watercolour paint, watercolour paper (approximately 9” x 12”), a medium-sized paintbrush, water jar, and tissues/paper towel. A sharpie or black coloured pencil is also helpful.
