Tongue twisters and nursery rhymes
Reading nursery rhymes and tongue twisters to practice pronunciation

Practicing pronunciation (skjuta, skjorta, skjuts, stjäla, skönhet, etc.)

Swedish chocolate balls
We will bake Swedish chocolate balls in class. Swedish chocolate balls is an easy beginner recipe that is a staple in Swedish culture.

Welcome to Sweden
We will create a document with practical phrases that would be useful if you are a tourist in Sweden. We will also practice the phrases by using Google Maps and pretending that we are visiting a few cities and locations in Sweden.

This class is taught in English.
I was born and grew up in Sweden and am a native speaker. I also have a bilingual child who speaks both English and Swedish. 
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
We will use Google maps during lessons 7 and 8 to practice useful phrases when you are a tourist and to learn about famous locations in Sweden, including the capital Stockholm. I will screen share Google Maps,s and the students will not use the website themselves.
