P Is for Penguins and Polar Bears

In this class, the students will learn about the letter p, penguins, and polar bears. The students will begin the class by learning the letter p. They will practice saying the p sound and thinking of words and identifying words that start with the letter p. Then the students will learn about where polar bears and penguins live. They will also learn about how they stay warm, their homes, and what they eat. They will only learn about some of the penguins that live in colder climates. The students will answer questions about each kind of animal. The students will practice moving like penguins and polar bears. The students will be able to talk about what they know about each animal. At the end of class, the students will review the p words and practice writing the letter p if there is time.
