In this class students will follow along with me each week as we learn how to draw stylized characters modeling everything from everyday looks to red-carpet-ready ballgowns. This class will help students become comfortable using a paintbrush as well as using watercolor paints. 1. Pencil 2. Eraser 3. Watercolor paper: I will be using Arches 140lb cold pressed watercolor paper. I will be using a 4x6in sheet of paper 4. Water cups: 1 for clean 1 for dirty water 5. Paint brushes: You will want a range of sizes, I recommend round, pointed tip brushes as well as a few liner/detail brushes. 6. Paper towel/rag: for cleaning our brushes 7. Paint: Standard watercolor set 8. Palette: Most watercolor palettes have one built in, if yours does not, a glass/plastic/ceramic bowl or plate will work just fine Optional supplies: 9. Acrylic paints, ink, or gouache 10. Glitter 11. Sequins 12. Rhinestones 13. Glue
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
