Other Details

Parental Guidance
This course is considered a politically sensitive topic because we are talking about the politicization of African American hair. When African Americans wore their hair anyway that was not in the Eurocentric fashion, it was seen as almost a disrespect and a statement African Americans were trying to make. The goal of this course is for students to understand the double standard of African American hair set by society.
Supply List
Kahoot!
It might be helpful to use two devices, one for the Zoom meet and the other for the kahoot game.
