Students will improve their understanding of how our lungs and muscles function, how our body digests food, and the importance of good nutrition.

Paper Pencil Coloring Supplies Large plastic bottle Balloons Scissors Straws Rubberbands Plastic Sandwich Bag Vegetable Oil White Vinegar Piece of Bread, Crackers, or Handful of Oatmeal Cardboard/Cardstock Yarn All supplies will be posted in the classroom at least one week before each class.
Learners will be using bread and crackers during an experiment about the stomach. Both products contain gluten. Reach out to the teacher for alternatives.
