"Understanding Our Body: Lungs, Digestion, Nutrition, and Muscles" is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of their own bodies, focusing on the respiratory system, digestion, the importance of nutrition, and how muscles work. Through interactive discussions and hands-on projects, students will learn about the intricacies of their bodies and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This class meets twice a week for 4 weeks. Students will create a model of our lungs, our stomachs, and our muscles to help them understand how they each function. They will also learn about the importance of good nutrition for our body in order to ensure it functions at its best. Week 1: Lungs Week 2: Digestion Week 3: Muscles Week 4: Nutrition "Understanding Our Body: Lungs, Digestion, Nutrition, and Muscles" offers an exciting journey through the inner workings of the human body, covering the respiratory system, digestion, the significance of nutrition, and muscle function. Through interactive discussions, hands-on projects, and fun activities, students will not only learn about the complexities of their bodies, but also gain insight into the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Other Details
Parental Guidance
Learners will be using bread and crackers during an experiment about the stomach. Both products contain gluten. Reach out to the teacher for alternatives.
