Our amazing bodies are like machines that have many parts working together to keep you healthy! Together, students will learn about the many organs our bodies have, what their job is, and why they're important. Each week we will meet twice to discuss a new body part or one of the five senses (see the class schedule below for each week's topic). Every class will incorporate some of the following: an experiment, hands-on activity, game, video/song/dance, storytime, colorful slide presentation...
*As we progress through this class, I will frequently update our supply list to always include at minimum the next four weeks. Those days are indicated in the "Learner Supply List" section with a (!) next to the day. **Allergy warning! Playdoh contains gluten and cannot be used with students who have celiac or are gluten intolerance. Please reach out to me and I will provide you with an alternative dough recipe (only four common and inexpensive household ingredients!) that does not contain gluten.
